Please meet Billy, a 5/6yr old Daxi who, due to change in family circumstances, needs a new home. He is a timid little lad and this is partly because he was being bullied by another dog at his previous home and he needs time to get to know you and is wary of strangers. He is house and crate trained and is now starting to go out for walks and new adventures which he is slowly staring to enjoy and gain confidence on. He is scared of young children and loud bangs scare him, but he is doing so well out and about on the roads with traffic etc. He gains his confidence from his foster pal who loves going out and is a bundle of fun. He knows his basic commands and likes to play a game of ball although he has not quite got the hang of leave yet. New owners must be prepared to groom him, which he is not too fond of but, being long haired, must be done. He has not lived with cats or young children. He is a lovely little lad who has so much love to give and just needs someone to give him time and lots of love.
HOMING INFO
Billy is looking for an older family children 12+ who will not be out all day and leave him for long periods as he does not like being alone. He really needs to be with another confident dog to give him confidence and show him the world is not a bad place to be. New owners must have a secure garden and be prepared to continue training and socialising with him
